Quick answer
In the lobby you step on a pad to create a group, and the Create a Group window has four choices: Players (1 to 4), Difficulty (Easy, Normal, Hard), Access (Public or Friends only) and Campaign (New saved game, or Temporary, which plays without saving). Normal is marked "the intended balance. Recommended." Friends only means only the host's Roblox friends can join.

How you create a group
The lobby is a large room with pads on the floor. A sign above an empty pad reads Available, step on to create a group, 1-4 players. Stepping on it opens the Create a Group window, which is labelled with the pad number (Pad 3 in one video). The green Create Group button is at the bottom. Other pads in the room show running groups, for example one marked 4/4 Normal Public and another 2/3 Normal.
Saved game or temporary
A new saved game starts a campaign the game keeps for you; a temporary game plays without saving, and the window warns that the progress is not saved. With a 100 day goal and objectives that run past Day 38, a saved campaign is the one to pick if you want to come back later. The Save Slot 2 and Save Slot 3 passes each add another campaign slot, which is why the lobby has up to three.
What we haven't seen
We haven't seen the Easy or Hard descriptions, or anything that says what changes between them. We'll add it when a video shows it.
Lobby tips
- Pick Normal unless you've played before; it's the recommended setting.
- Use Friends only if you want a private run with people you know.
- Pick New saved game for a long campaign; Temporary progress isn't saved.
- Check the pad sign before stepping on: Available means you can create a group there.
